Larry Franklin Freeman, age 72, of Spruce Pine, fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on Monday, May 22nd, 2023 at Mission Hospital. A native of Oklahoma, he was a son of the late RT and Betty Utterback Freeman. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Tom Freeman. Larry worked as a light and sound professional, setting up music concerts. He was a wonderful and dedicated husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family taking adventures and exploring many destinations.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 45 years, Donna Briggs Freeman; daughters: Jarryn, Robyn and Jodi; sons: Jarrett and Jacob; three grandchildren and a brother, Richard Freeman and wife, Janet. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
