Town of Spruce Pine Receives $110,000 From ABC Sales

The Chairman of the Spruce Pine ABC Board presented a check to the Town of Spruce Pine for $110,000 at their Monday, June 12th meeting. The $110,000 came from profits from the store’s sales. Members of the ABC Board are appointed by the Town Council. Those members are: Mac Robinson, a downtown business owner who lives in the Grassy Creek area; Matt Miller, a local contractor who lives in Spruce Pine; and Darlene Butler, Spruce Pine Town Manager, appointed to replace the retired town manager on the board. Town officials expressed gratitude for the hard work of the staff and manager of the Spruce Pine ABC store and to the leadership of the ABC Board.
