On Saturday June 17th at 4:51 pm Newdale Fire Department was dispatched to a working structure fire located at 736 River Walk Drive, Burnsville, home of Jeremy (JJ) and Crystal LaMotte. The first fire truck arrived on scene at 4:58 pm to find fire showing from the roof and windows of the house. The fire department was able to confirm that no people were in the house and immediately started putting out the fire. The fire was under control at 5:47 pm and completely out a short while later. Newdale VFD left the scene at 8:58 pm. The house was a complete loss. Sadly three LaMotte family pets lost their lives in the fire.
