July is the Orchard’s first apple month, and everyone is waiting patiently. In the interim, the music lineup fills weekends with sounds to settle the anticipatory pacing.
July 1: Randy Flack
July 2: Asheville Junction
July 8: Split Rail Bluegrass
July 9: Butterbeans
July 15: Good Ol’ Boys
July 16: Slight Departure
July 22: Boone Trail Band
July 23: Seth & Sara
July 29: Dollar Brothers
July 30: Randy Flack
Don’t forget Ron McKinney’s book signing on the 8th from 11 to 2 and all the fun things to see and do. Heyrides every weekend (weather permitting); grill open 11 to 3 pm. Hang a tiny monarch on Saturday, plant a tiny tree on Sunday. Take a walk in the sunshine; picnic at one of the outdoor tables; and of course, weekends aren’t complete without a big scoop of ice cream atop a bowl of hot apple pie or perched atop a waffle cone.
Watch the website, altapassorchard.org or our Facebook page for apple updates, and start crossing the dates on your calendar for the first apple crop.
