Dance your way to the Town Square this Saturday, July 1st from 10 am to noon to enjoy fun lawn games and so much more! There will be something for everyone whether you’d like to get moving or sit down and make some art.
You can play lawn games with your family and others or join a REFIT®️ exercise class from 10 to 11 am. REFIT®️ combines powerful moves with positive workout music that feels like a dance party. You can also get artsy by painting rocks, decorating pots, planting your own seeds, or getting your face painted!
A program of Partners Aligned Toward Health, Healthy Yancey is a partnership of concerned citizens working together to improve the quality of health for all people in Yancey County. Healthy Yancey developed the Sizzlin’ Summer Series in an effort to increase connections between neighbors and people, increase physical activity, and create fun ways to play and be active in our community.
