Mitchell County has posted drafts of two ordinances on their website that will have public hearings on Monday, July 10th. These are the proposed subdivision ordinance and the chemical spill cleanup costs recovery ordinance. The general public is invited to review the proposals and attend the July 10th meeting and share comments on both documents.
The easiest way to access both drafts is to visit the county website at mitchellcountync.gov and find the Proposed Ordinances Public Hearing section near the top of the front page. There is also a link on the county government’s Facebook page.
