Stupid party loyalty, stupid misplaced loyalty to anything, even what are usually good things or people we love can cause problems, meanness, and unhappiness. You know that old trite line about loving something or somebody enough to let it go? There’s some truth in that. Also need to understand that we can love something or someone enough to understand we should not be “loyal” to that person or thing if it causes harm to them, us or anybody else. When we love without expecting anything in return and don’t cave in to the demands of “loyalty” from those we love it’s unconditional love, love without expectations. Only bullies and greedy people demand loyalty from those they love when they are doing things that harm themselves, the people they love or anyone else.
