Around 11:30 yesterday morning Yancey County Dispatch received a call advising Madison County Sheriff’s Office along with Mars Hill Police Department were in a vehicle chase with a black truck, and they were about to enter Yancey County.
The Yancey County Sheriff’s Office assisted apprehending 38 year old Donovan Patrick Williams, of Greenville, NC.
Williams was charged by Yancey County Sheriff’s Office with Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, Deliver Methamphetamine and Cocaine as well as multiple other drug charges.
Williams was also served with outstanding warrants from Lenoir with charges of Felony Interfering with an Electronic Monitor Device, and Felony Probation Violation out of County. Williams was placed under a $170,000 bond in Yancey County.
