Casey Danielle Boone, age 34, of Brushy Creek Road in Spruce Pine, the Estatoe community passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2023 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals in Asheville.
Born on April 29, 1989 in Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Sam Boone and Pam Pitman Boone who still survives.
Casey was a member of the Bear Creek Baptist Church. She loved nature, hiking and going to waterfalls. Her love of waterfalls is evidenced by her going to many of the local waterfalls in the area. She also enjoyed listening to music.
Left to cherish her memory is her mother; Pam Boone of Spruce Pine; her husband; Steve Nanney of Marion; her daughters; Peyton Whorten of Spruce Pine and Addison Nanney of Marion; and her sisters; Angela Riddle and Jessica Boone both of Burnsville.
In accordance of Casey’s wishes, no services are planned.
