When The Lights Go Out, The Laughter Starts

Next up at Parkway Playhouse is the hilarious farce, Black Comedy!

It’s 1967 and a young sculptor and his fiancé have borrowed fancy furniture from a neighbor without his permission in the hopes of impressing a millionaire art collector. When a blackout plunges the party into darkness everyone must navigate the room, surprise visitors, unexpected mistresses, and angry fathers as they collide into stolen furniture, trap doors, and each other.

“We have such a great team! I think there are going to be plenty of laughs for everyone!” Says director Jeff Catanese. This production will star talented actors Leif Brodersen, Trinity Smith-Keel, Christy Montesdeoca, Adam Arthur, Jered Shults, George Pfeffer, Mikhale Sherrill, and Jeremy Holden.

Black Comedy will feature an incredible two-story set, fun costumes, and a hilarious story, all on the Parkway Playhouse stage. Tickets are now on sale! Find them online at www.parkwayplayhouse.com or stop by their box office on show weekends, an hour and a half before the show starts.
