Continually fascinated

As a member of a union family most of my adult life, educated by pro-union and union member professors when I was in college, I am even more fascinated that someone with that much experience with unions doesn’t know any union members singing that song. Personally I am very pro-union in general, particularly in this time and place and not a fan of the song. The right-to-work-state jargon is a scam, no doubt. But I know fellow unionists who feel betrayed by unions in years past, who have had family members thrown under the bus by some unions during some dark parts of union history in this country, and who were hurt by the criminal element of some unions in some places in a past close enough to remember vividly. Many of them are singing that song. So maybe you shouldn’t take such a leap when you obviously have only a very narrow view of what you are talking about.
