If you live in the town-a resident of the town can run for town council, mayor, etc. Town residents can run for county commissioner ,etc but when it comes to county residents(outside of town) running for town council one cannot run for town council .It’s two standards because that is not fair .Be fair to your citizens and not being fair is not what the Constitution upholds. That sounds like what they are telling Trump that he can’t run on the ballot. It’s two sets of standards -one for me and a different one for thee. This should change. As a citizen of these counties we should have a say about the town just like the town has a say in the county. Is that fair? In my opinion, it’s discrimination at its finest.
