I think libraries are a local treasure and not an “issue.” It’s not that they are issue that is national, it’s that our local treasure is being discussed, attacked and defended by a bunch of people using tactics developed at a national level. I find that disgusting and disappointing. If it doesn’t change we could lose our local treasure and it will be our own fault.
