Dig In! Yancey Community Garden invites everyone to celebrate another extraordinary season of growing and sharing together at our annual Empty Bowls fundraising dinner on October 6 at the Burnsville Town Center.
Tickets to the event can be purchased online or at the door. Full price tickets are $40 and come with a choice of soup, bread, dessert, and a beautiful handcrafted bowl. Over a dozen different soups are prepared by local restaurants and caterers, and a diverse selection of breads and desserts are donated by talent home bakers throughout the county. The bowls are made by local artisans who have donated their craft so that our gardens flourish with food for everyone. A $15 foods-only ticket is also available for kids or adults.
The fundraiser supports Dig In’s work growing and sharing food with our community so that everyone can eat well.
