Anthony (Tony) Malk, age 52, of Toecane in Bakersville, passed away in his home on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Born on August 19, 1971, in Dade County, Florida, he was the son of Joseph and Janice (Valvo) Malk.
Tony loved his job at Mount Mitchell State Park. He enjoyed working in his garden, attending live music, and spending time with his family. He was a great dad and husband, who loved his family and dogs very much.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Joseph and Janice Malk; wife, Abbey Malk; daughter, Cassidy; son, Tyler Malk; brother, Michael Malk; sister, Sherry (Phil) Calandra; mother in-law, Janet (Alan) Pierce; father in-law, Dean (JoEllyn) Treadman; brother in-law, Kerry (Gina) Treadman; sister in-law, Kirsten (Bill) Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.
In his honor, the family will be having a private celebration of life at their home.
