Patricia Diane Burleson

Patricia Diane Burleson, age 65, of Franklinown Road in Spruce Pine, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023 at her home.
Born on March 19, 1958 in Avery County, she was the daughter of the late William Charles and Essie Jones McKinney. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Mike Burleson who passed away in 2018.

Also preceding her in death was her grandparents; Ernest and Texie Jones and Ruth Sparks and her brother-in-law; Kenneth Mace.

Diane was a member of the Sullins Branch Baptist Church. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Hampshire Hosiery. She loved spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughters; Tammy Garland and husband, Doug of Bakersville and Tina Hughes and husband, Dennis of Spruce Pine; her sisters; Wanda Kay Burleson and husband, Donnie of Spruce Pine and Laura Ann Mace of Spruce Pine; her brothers; Charles Alan McKinney and wife, Diane of Spruce Pine and William Ray McKinney and wife, Rhonda of Spruce Pine; her grandchildren; Tiffany Tipton and husband, Tyler of Burnsville, Danielle Breedin and husband, Danial of Spruce Pine, Ashley Kerlin and husband, Stewart of Raleigh, Dakota Garland, Alexis Garland, Kedren Hughes, and Kylee Hughes and her great grandchildren; Kennedy, Emma Grace, Ava, Mia, and Liam.

A time to support the family, share memories and receive friends will be on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home with the Rev’s. Ken Jenkins and Cody McKinney officiating. Interment will be in the Sullins Cemetery.
