From mark 25:20 – 1:05:00 you can listen to the confusion and shenanigans surrounding the board, and commissioners of the past and present. If anyone listens to this and can’t understand that it has been out of control for DECADES, you aren’t being rational. Every citizen should want the clarification and accountability the commissioners are trying to get in order.

Amber herself suggested a commissioner be put on the board and said Yancey County library board is the only board that doesn’t have a commissioner on the library board.
I’ve seen someone complain about the commissioners doing that but obviously didn’t attend the meeting to hear that it was Amber who suggested that. Typical keyboard complainer who doesn’t get out and participate in the community.

Amber admits not having the by laws on the website updated in years. That’s not acceptable.

Higgins admitted being on the board since the 70s, maybe 80s. This is a perfect example of the loophole bouncing and weaving shenanigans the commissioners are wanting to get a grip on and change. Which they should, if they didn’t they would be failing the community.
