Buried Deep in An Article on WKYK Titled “Yancey School Board Hears Project Updates”

Since my child attends one of our county elementary schools, I was interested to read the article on the WKYK website titled “Yancey School Board Hears Project Updates” which was posted on 10/02/23. When I clicked on the “(more)” link to read the entire article, I was surprised to find buried deep, deep, deep in the article, almost at the bottom, was the “Public Input” section. It stated: Elizabeth Boulter, Jane Willig, and Kim Higgins spoke. Kim Higgins comment at meeting: The-Other-Side-of-Education-Kim-Higgins
Copying and pasting “The-Other-Side-of-Education-Kim-Higgins” will not allow access to the link. I suggest anyone with a child in the Yancey County school system, especially if your child is of high school age, go to the article on the WKYK website and find the Public Input section of the article and click on the link (in red) and read the facts, thoughts, and valid concerns of these women – 2 whom I know are former teachers of the Yancey County School System.
