Luckily, some of us don’t live in a county where people seem to be under the delusion that everyone who lives in a county that is predominantly anything. THOSE are not the type of people I can take seriously no matter what “side” they are on. There are a relatively few loud voices making a lot of assumptions. It’s time for the rest of us to start paying attention and vote. For me the problem is having anyone who shares my rural democratic values to vote for. I agree that our mountain counties are a little slice of heaven on earth, and I wish everyone trying to impose their “values” would quit trying to turn it into hell on earth for so many of us.
