Apparently you haven’t been to Ingles in Burnsville much lately. I’m referring to a young, pretty, able-bodied young woman with a sign asking for money. I was there when an older man in overalls approached her with phone in hand. He asked her for her phone number so he could help her out. Wonder what he will be expecting for payback. This is how it starts, people. Do you think Asheville started out with panhandlers on every street corner at once? It’s a slow fade.
