I know term limits won’t fix the government because I’m NOT a Democrat. Not a Republican either. The way to stop the corruption in DC is to do things to stop the corruption in DC. …and in NC. ….and in our local places. …and not just with elected officials. When you’re passing laws that make corrupt and unethical business practices legal enforcing those laws isn’t going to to do much about corruption. I repeat: Term limits are a good way to create the appearance of change. They are not a good way to solve the problems created and exacerbated by our current brand of political competition. They aren’t going to end any messes, just start different ones.
