Leaving it to the Librarians is not THE problem, it’s your problem. Little to nothing has changed about how the library has been managed in many years. Nothing was hidden, nothing is being shoved down anyone’s throat. I have never been lucky enough to have a big well resourced and professionally staffed library like you have in Burnsville so displays of books were not a possibility. But now I keep hearing from people who are concerned about what other people’s children see. Small children should be with their parents in the library, should be supervised. Seeing a book is not harming anyone. I have yet to have anything described or seen anything that is not done well. You are right, it is quite simple. Leave it to the Librarians. They are and have long been doing a great job.
