I wholeheartedly encourage anyone who would like to discuss the issues regarding Town water lines under 19E and the repairs that have been made to those lines to come by Town Hall M-F and talk to me. Or you can call me at 828-682-2420. I can assure you the employees that deal with the constant line breaks that are completely unrelated to anything the Town has done or created are as tired as everyone else of the problem. They work tirelessly at all hours in dangerous conditions, sometimes 14 feet below the surface, to do the very best they can to restore service to customers in that area. I can also assure you that the paving contractors are doing the best they can given the conditions. So again I invite you to come by and have a conversation anytime.
