Notice of Public Input Meeting for East Main Sidewalk Feasibility Study

The Town of Burnsville received funding from the NCDOT to study pedestrian pathways along a portion of East Main Street from Longview Drive to Mountain Energy Gas Station. An engineering team selected by DOT has prepared two conceptual designs and will be available for a public input meeting on November 2nd, 2023 at 3:30pm, in the Town Hall upstairs boardroom. The public will have the opportunity to review the plans, ask questions, and offer input. If you are unable to attend the meeting, the plans will be available at Town Hall for review any business day after the meeting.
There will be no action taken by the Town Council at this meeting. Engineers will incorporate the input into the plan and present at a later Council meeting. Please call Town Hall at (828) 682-2420 with any questions.
