Christopher “Little Mage” Webb, age 55, of the Spear Community, passed away unexpectedly at Wake Forest Baptist Burn Center.
A native of Avery County, he was a son of the late Nage Webb and Esther Marcus Hughes. He was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Marvin Reece Webb; two sisters: Gloria and Lena Webb.
Chris, even though he never had many material things in this world, was rich in friends. He lived his life unapologetically, helping anyone who called upon him and will always be remembered for his giving heart. He was a lover of music, vintage electronics and a talented mechanic, who could work on anything.
He was always taking in stray animals, who seemed to know his kindness and loving care immediately. His laughter and memory will forever live in the hearts who knew him and will finally live in peace.
Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Tabetha Wright (Lee) of Hampton, TN; uncle, Orville Webb of Roaring Creek; aunt, Eunice Webb (DW) also of Roaring Creek; nephews and nieces: Matt, Daniel, Tonya, Amber, Cheryl, Brittany, Isaiah, Patrick, Jonathan, David, Robert and Christopher. Numerous cousins and friends also survive.
Graveside Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 28th in the Hughes Cemetery on Roaring Creek.
Memorial donations may be sent to Yancey Funeral Services at 378 Charlie Brown Road, Burnsville, NC 28714 to help with expenses.
