Pendulum swings happen because we cause or allow them to. They are not inevitable. They happen because we make them happen or allow them to happen. If the new Speaker of the House and the people who created this mess he now is attempting to lead believe that or not is irrelevant to that fact. The swinging can be stopped. Personally, I think that would be a good thing.
