What do Liberals think? I can only speak for myself, but I know a lot of people who generally agree. I believe science is real. Your feelings and beliefs are not facts no matter how hard you wish it. Everyone has value and should be accepted for who they are provided they do no harm to others. You can believe whatever you like but can’t expect everyone to believe the same thing you do. As in in, you can believe in God, but your invisible sky daddy is not mine and his rules don’t matter to me. Saying something is true because it’s in the bible is ridiculous. What about those who have different beliefs? And also, just because someone else gets the right to do something doesn’t take one of your rights away. It just means someone else’s life got better. Be happy for them. Don’t try to take back their shiny new toy like a toddler.
I digress a bit, but the basic idea is this. Liberals believe in the value of knowledge, different perspectives and respectful treatment for others. We believe in caring for those who need care and welcoming those who are different. You know, like that guy you pretend to love…was it Jesus? Is that right?
