No One Vs Anyone

Here are some thoughts from years of study and thinking, not stumbling across anything.
1. The fastest growing, and largest in number historically and currently are different things that effect the history of power and the current state of it very differently.
2. I never knew anyone Christian or Muslim who thought the two religions or religious traditions were “the same.” Who does?

And among that wide range range of Christian and Muslim colleagues and friends over time, I don’t know any of good will who thinks in terms of “versus,” at least when they haven’t been intentionally misinformed or disinformed to create chaos and conflict. That’s what the “we” I know thinks.

While some of those friends and colleagues, both Christian and Muslim, are open to the concept of false prophets, neither find evidence that such false prophets don’t or won’t come from within their own tradition, many of them are convinced of it. Personally, I’m agnostic on that point. But it’s just not a conclusion they can come to without cherrypicking to get to it. No cherrypicking, no conclusion.

Personally, I think an awful lot of misguided people in this country have confused economic thought with religion already. Not a big leap in my mind that some may go that way with technology as well.
