In all reality why don’t we just believe 56 percent of respondents when they say they left the Christian faith because they just stopped believing in its teachings? I find it is wise to believe what people tell you about themselves or what they show you about themselves. While I would certainly agree it would be good and helpful for Christians and anyone else to show the kindness and love that they are supposed to, would like to or say they embody, they can certainly do that while reconsidering what articles of faith they believe and which they do not.
