This is why I say you need to read a book. Heck, you need to read the bible. A monotheist is a person who believes in one god: that’s you. I’m an atheist: I believe there is no god at all. And the rapture is not in the bible. The entire Book of the Revelation of St. John the Divine is not even about the end times or religion. It’s a warning to the churches of Asia Minor about repression of Christianity by the political regime of the time. The rapture is something that was invented later by the church just as hell is an invention of the church. And why would I waste time reading a book I don’t believe in? For knowledge. For entertainment. The reasons all people read. I don’t believe in ghosts or evil clowns, but I still read Stephen King. Get out of your tiny little echo chamber and learn something.
