Henriette Christine Hensley, age 65 of Burnsville, NC went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
She was born on March 1, 1958, to the late Ray and Marie Quint Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Scott Wilson.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 44 years, John Henry Hensley; sons: Vestal (Sally) Hensley, Shawn (Andrea) Hensley, Jason Hensley, and Matthew (Sheena) Hensley; daughter, Maggie (Ruben) Martinez; brothers: Darrel Wilson, Tracey Wilson, and Bruce Wilson; sisters: Jackie Wilson and Barbara Wilson; grandchildren: R.J. Murphy, Nathanial Hensley, Alexander Hensley, Mariah Causby, Zach Vess, Zoey Vess, Savannah Hensley, Hannah Hensley, John Hensley, Alex Silvers, Vanessa Martinez, Angelina Martinez, Mario Martinez, and Armando Martinez; great-grandchild, Graylynn Causby; and sister-in-law, Emmalou Chambers.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Simms Fork Cemetery in Burnsville, NC. The family will accept friends and loved ones at 11:00 a.m. for visitation in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home.
