Jennifer Renee Somerset, age 55 of Burnsville, NC went Home to be with the Lord on November 28, 2023.
She was born on February 18, 1968, to Fredrick and Gwyn McClendon Calhoun. Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, and her loving husband, Alexander Somerset, Sr.
Jennifer was a caregiver through and through and many knew her for her loving and nurturing spirit. She worked as a labor and delivery nurse for many years. She also worked as a cosmetologist and loved to do hair. Jennifer had many talents such as painting, drawing, cooking, and singing Stevie Nicks songs on repeat. Jennifer loved life, and always inspired others to do more; to be more. She will forever be treasured in the hearts of those she has left behind.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Sean (Shelly) Siefert and AJ Somerset; daughter, Serina Somerset; sister, Julie Calhoun; grandchildren: Killian Siefert, Kinsley Siefert, Ariella Robinson, and Zeke Robinson and a brother-in-law, Kevin Somerset (Carol); as well as other loved ones and friends: Lisa Somerset, Scotty Harrison, Teddy Somerset, Susie McIntosh, Fred Soler, Gwen, David Byrd, Sarrah Somerset, and Brianna Somerset.
