As you say, real problems are not new, nor or they confined to nor pervasive in the community of teachers in our country or our counties. Those problems that are in our schools have certainly been allowed to fester and even grow over the years by our community turning a blind eye to teachers, administrators, and elected leaders engaging in not just sexual activity but also intimidation with students and each other.
