You can voice any beliefs you want. That’s historically bee one of the better if sometimes hard things about living in the US. Very few things across the board can accurately be assigned to a political party, including unsubstantiated beliefs about what Republicans and Trump “simply want.” Same goes for
Biden and Democrats. Not much of anybody “simply wants” much of anything, most of all anyone who “identifies” with a political party or any theology or ideology. Capitalism AS WE HAVE PRACTICED IT in this country hasn’t “worked” or worked equitably for a long time if ever. This is not a binary choice between capitalism and socialism, at least not to anyone who has been paying attention.
