Voting absolutely matters and matters most on a local level much of the time, but the connection you make to Democrats and crime in Asheville at a local level up here is tenuous at best. Heck, in Mitchell County all the Republicans just keep fighting with each other! No Democrats for us Indies to worry about or blame!
