Randy Wayne “Tiny” Robinson, age 56, of Burnsville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 24th, 2023. A native of Yancey County, he was a son of the late Jonathan and Gladys McMahan Robinson. He was also preceded in death by three brothers: Zane, Michael and Johnny Robinson.
Randy was an incredibly talented artist who loved to draw and paint. He was also a muscle car and motorcycle enthusiast.
Surviving are his children: Caleb Robinson (Labriska) of Green Mountain, Cody Robinson of Asheville, and Courtney Robinson (Kendall) of Leicester; granddaughter, Reignna; brother, Paul Robinson of South Toe; and sisters: Annetta Cook and Vivian Stevens, both of South Toe and Helen Curtis of Cane River. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family also survive.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 4th in the chapel of Yancey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the services.
