The books you are talking about are likely new books which are very often displayed for a while with the covers prominent so people know they have arrived recently at the library. The same is true in most libraries. As for LGBTQ+ content, you should really try to live in the real world. There are a lot of queer teens and adults in our tri-county area which the AMY libraries serve. Those folks appreciate seeing themselves represented in books just like everyone does. Especially teens. It’s important that they know they are not alone. There are also books to educate people about that community. Perhaps if you read some of those books you would understand that we are all much more like one another than we are different. And, just so you know, public libraries do not contain pornography. Try to be a better human.
