Two men from Lenoir North Carolina were arrested late last week by Mitchell County Deputies following credit, debit card use and tag readers in North Carolina and Tennessee with the assistance of Federal ATF. The men arrested were also charged with the recent car breaking and entering incidents in Mitchell County.
Charged were 33 year old Dillon Ray Byrd and 30 year old Scott Nathaniel Presnell, both of Lenoir, NC. The Sheriff’s Department said this is still an on-going investigation with several more charges that will be taken out in Mitchell County and other counties in North Carolina as well as Tennessee.
Both of the men were picked up at their residence with Mitchell County officers on the scene.
