I’m just a grandma trying to understand why my grandkid and her friends are suddenly obsessed with changing their “gender,” names, and pronouns. Compared to prior generations, there is a large number of kids who seem to have “gender dysphoria.” Why? Why is one’s gender something that needs to be announced, recognized, and celebrated? Don’t tell me they just want to live in peace. Is it for attention? If not, then why do they demand a whole month (June) of books, movies, flag flying and parades to celebrate?
