It’s interesting that people who lack facts or viable arguments to support or defend their positions find it necessary to launch ad hominem attacks. In other words, if you don’t like (or agree with) the message, then attack the messenger. The comment “ [w]hen we normalize the ability of people to bully everyone else with their beliefs” is the pot calling the kettle black. I would also note that reading and participating in ourlocalcommunityonline is entirely optional. If you don’t enjoy reading the opinions of others who might disagree with you, then you might want to consider joining another online forum where you can connect with more like-minded people. Personally, I enjoy the discussions and opinions – even when people post things that I think are ridiculous or that I disagree with.
