As someone not on either side, if the previous poster is talking about the two parties, I suggest folks be very careful about proclaiming what “the people” want. I was right with the previous poster until we got to the part where they seem to think that the minority …though loud… opinion in our current political environment is “the people.” Besides, most serious efforts to remove anyone from the ballot both at the national and state levels are coming from the party the candidate is affiliated with, not the other guys. There’s a case playing out in NC right now where Republicans are trying to keep people who identify as Nazis off the ballot as Republicans. People who only teach part of history are doomed to repeat the bad parts.
