Misleading Selective Memory

I’m not particularly impressed with the way this administration or the last has dealt with insulin prices or availability to those who need the drug. That said, the Trump administration regulation only applied to federally funded health centers. The regulation was never implemented and everyone in healthcare I talked to at the time said its impact was expected to be quite limited if it was implemented. …which it wasn’t. Read the fine print on the executive order. That said, what’s happening now means that someone under Medicare goes to a pharmacy, and they only have a $35 monthly co-pay, whereas people with private insurance or who are not insured can only benefit from what some manufacturers did outside of Medicare, but it’s not automatic. They have to register for programs. And it looks to me like it can become pretty complicated for them real fast. It’s likely to impact more people than the Trump order could have, but it’s still complicated and limited.
