I would imagine when the announcement was put on the Internet and printed in the local newspaper that the director of the chamber was resigning, that a person could have gone into the office and asked how and when they could apply for that position.
That would entail a person actually getting off their couch, into their car, and driving there… and to get off the Internet. Is that too much to ask in the 21st century??? Strange times y’all!! There’s an incredible invention called a telephone… go figure! Anyone could have called the office and asked about the position. Then one wouldn’t have to get off the couch! Woohoo!
