Bobby Jack Grindstaff, age 74, of the South Toe Community, passed away on Friday, January 26th, 2024 at Smoky Ridge Health and Rehabilitation. A native of Yancey County, he was a son of the late Jay and Bonnie Gurley Grindstaff. He was also preceded in death by a son, Chad Grindstaff. He enjoyed fishing and watching TV (especially westerns). Bobby was the best dad, brother God could give, good, honest, caring and hard-working man who never got mad.
Surviving is his daughter, Crystal Grindstaff; brother, Kenneth Grindstaff; aunt, Tootie and the mother of his children, Barbara Grindstaff all of Burnsville. Several cousins and friends also survive.
