As a gun owner what I think has the potential to better protect our country is more citizens who better understand the second amendment, its history, what it means and what it doesn’t mean. Common sense gun laws, and better firearms education and safety programs is not “disarming the nation.” The only crazies I encounter regularly are the ones who say things like, “… if we are disarmed we will be just like the other countries that are saying ‘Don’t let them take your 2nd Amendment -or you will end up like us.’..” and think they have a clue about what they are talking about. Thank goodness we have not locally faced what can happen when that brand of crazy puts guns in the hands of people shooting children in schools and churches and thinks it makes sense because someone else had a gun to shoot them with. Yep, as the other poster said, lotta’ CraCra going on there.
