While common sense gun laws and education are needed, they are not a dependable deterrent for those criminals and mentally impaired who are dead set on obtaining and using a gun. Gun laws typically only prevent those who try to “legally” purchase a gun. Even guns purchased legally by a sane, law abiding person can be used in a moment of insanity. There is no all purpose cure for what ails society. As a responsible gun owner, I will continue to support our 2nd Amendment.
