On February 13th Mitchell County deputies responded to an alarm at Roan Mountain Pharmacy in Bakersville. Upon opening of the drug store tools were found inside from a break in. Video evidence led to a warrant and the arrest of Tim W. Hyder Jr, age 31 of Duck Branch Road, Bakersville. Hyder was charged with Breaking and Entering and a $5000 bond set.
