The Spruce Pine Police Department is reporting a person was charged with trespassing and resisting arrest after an incident at Walmart in spruce Pine, this past Friday.
Officials said police were called to the store about 8 p.m. but they provided few details other than to say an individual was arrested and charged with one count of trespassing and three counts of resisting arrest.
In a Facebook Quote they said, “At this time, the Department has turned the matter over to the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and will have no further comment as this matter is an ongoing criminal investigation.”
