A narcissist has to be other-focused, meaning that they get their energy from being a parasite on other people. When that isn’t there, they are left to sit there in their thoughts, and suddenly all their repressed trauma comes to the surface. They experience a narcissistic collapse Everybody will eventually leave the narcissist. People do not put up with their kind of abuse forever. They catch on, and they don’t want any part of it.
