Yes, let’s talk. Let’s talk misinformation, disinformation, logic and common sense:
If the things being described in the post in question were actually happening as described it would make common sense to be upset about them. But when they aren’t happening as described, are the people saying those things the perpetrators of disinformation preying on the weak minded and uninformed or are they the victims of the sleazy people using disinformation for fun, profit and power? I don’t know. No way to tell in an anonymous forum. Each statement is crafted to set up a false dichotomy or to divide people in a zero sum game that only exists in the mind of the writer and those who fall for it. As they say in their post, even an anonymous bully …like them… can see there’s nothing silly about this conversation. It is evil to spread this stuff no matter if the devil made ‘em do it, if they’ve been hoodwinked, or if they’re just copying and posting things they don’t understand. The person doing it doesn’t have to be evil for the evil to exist and be spread.
